Cordillera Administrative Region- The official radio program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) here will again be on air to continuously serve the Cordilleran people.

Dubbed as “Puso ti Serbisyo” (Heart of Service), the radio program was launched by the DSWD-CAR in 2011 to serves as the venue for the Department to update the public on the latest information concerning social protection programs and services. The program was also open to address arising issues and concerns of the public.

On its 5th year, the radio program will continue bringing the Department closer to the people by providing necessary information and updates on the social welfare and development aspect of the Government in the region. The program will still provide the listeners the opportunity to raise questions and react to the social welfare and development concerns in the region. It will now also share stories of people who have succeeded in their personal endeavors.

“What is new with our program now is that we will be sharing the stories of the people who we work with- our partner beneficiaries and clients. It will be our honor in the Department to serve as the bridge for them to share their stories for them to inspire others. Their hard work, determination, and successes are worth sharing.”, DSWD-CAR OIC Regional Director Janet Armas shared.
