The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has released for the first quarter of the year 13.1 million pesos to some 9,090 social pensioners in the region, the DSWD regional office revealed.

DSWD regional director Leonardo Reynoso said the agency has so far distributed 13,189,500.00 or 96.73% of the PhP 13,635,000.00 target amount for distribution for the period.
