Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR)- The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) here would like to warn its clients, stakeholders, and the general public regarding the circulating solicitation permit which bears the DSWD Solicitation Permit number DSWD-19-2021.

The said solicitation permit supposedly issued to Cordillera Binnadangan Connection Inc. is not processed by the DSWD Field Office CAR (DSWD FO CAR) thus is considered as fictious ang illegal.

This document bears the signature of former DSWD FO CAR Regional Director Leo L. Quintilla and the institution’s President Feliciano G. Calora Jr.

The DSWD FO CAR does not honor and denies any transaction made involving the fake document.

Furthermore, the DSWD FO CAR asks the public to directly coordinate with the nearest Local Social Welfare and Development Office (LSWDO) in their area or the DSWD FO CAR should there be messages or information that are suspicious or questionable.

It should be recalled that the DSWD through its Standards Section is the only institution allowed to issue a permit to solicit or conduct a fund campaign covering the entirety of the Cordillera Region. Activities covering a province or a certain municipality shall be regulated by the Local Social Welfare and Development Offices in the areas of concern.
