Delivery of SWD programs by LGU’s through LSWDO’s improved

Technical Assistance (TA) consist of non-monetary interventions in the following forms, which are designed to enhance the capability of Local Social Welfare Offices (LSWDOs) based on needs assessment, for the effective implementation of SWD programs, projects and services.

RA

Resource Augmentation (RA) is the provision of support to Local Government Unit (LGU) or Local Social Welfare Offices (LSWDOs) for the immediate response and early recovery of victims of disaster and implementation of other LSWDO-led programs and projects as mandated by existing laws and as may be provided for by existing DSWD policies and programs.

This is conducted by DSWD to Local Social Welfare and Development Office and Officers  every three (3) years to assess their capacity and competency needs. The results of the assessment will be used as basis in planning for responsive Technical Assistance and Resource Augmentation (TARA).
