Job Description:
The Psychologist III is responsible for the conduct of psychological assessment of clients, facilitate therapeutic interventions, manage the psychological concerns of residents, and collaborate with other specialized professionals within the field.
Functions and Responsibilities:
• Administer clinical psychological tests, interpret and assess test results, and provide recommendations in the Center;
• Present psychological diagnosis during case conferences and rehabilitation meetings;
• Conduct stress debriefing activities to the caregivers at the Center, which includes the social workers, house parents, and other administrative staff;
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions;
• Coordinate in the formulation of rehabilitation plans of the residents;
• Testify and appear in court as required and deemed necessary;
• Supervise students/ volunteers on field placement who observe/ participate in the agency program;
• Act as a resource person for capacity building during internal and external activities;
• Conduct monitoring and technical assistance to Psychometrician and Activity Coordinator within its Center and other Centers within the region; and
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Center Head.
